Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. When you record a voice note, we store the audio file, the machine-generated transcript, and the AI-generated ticket summary. We also store tickets, comments, workspace membership, and activity logs you create while using the service.

2. How AI processes your data

Voice recordings are transcribed by Groq (Whisper large-v3) and summarized by Google Gemini. If you connect a GitHub repository, file paths and manifest excerpts (not source code) are included in the AI prompt for context.

Free tier disclosure

On the Free plan, AI providers (Groq, Google) process your data under their free-tier terms, which may permit them to use submitted data to improve their models.

Pro & Team plans

Paid plans use each provider's paid API tier, where your data is never used for model training or improvement.

3. Data retention

Audio recordings are automatically deleted based on your plan:

  • Free — 7 days
  • Pro — 90 days
  • Team — 365 days

Tickets, transcripts, and summaries are retained until you or a workspace admin deletes them. Deleted workspaces are soft-deleted and can be recovered from the database within 30 days.

4. GitHub integration

When you connect a GitHub repository, Klepit reads repository metadata (file tree, manifest files like package.json and README.md) via the GitHub App API. We do not read, store, or transmit your source code. Repository snapshots (file paths only) are cached and refreshed every 24 hours or on push events.

5. Infrastructure & hosting

Klepit is hosted on Vercel (compute) and Supabase (database, authentication, file storage). Data is stored in Supabase's managed PostgreSQL and S3-compatible object storage. All connections use TLS encryption in transit.

6. What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not use your data for advertising.
  • We do not share data between workspaces.
  • We do not access your data except to operate the service or respond to support requests.

7. Your rights

You can delete your voice notes, tickets, and comments at any time. Workspace owners can delete an entire workspace. To request full account deletion, contact us at the address below.
